Do not go here. They expect you to wait a minimum of 2 1/2 -3 hours to see the doctor even with a scheduled appointment. Never in the last 10 years between south florida to Wisconsin and Illinois have I ever had to be at a retina specialist for that long. Even when needing to be dilated for an eye shot have I ever waited that long. The check in staff are also rude and do not seem to want to be there or are open to looking for other appointment times when booking the next appointment. Dr. Sullivan is by far THE BEST in his field, along with being a great, very personable man!!! These people that complain about how long they had to wait in the office are morons, I'm sorry to say. This isn't like going in for a quick oil change! When it comes to your eyes, the last thing you want is the Dr rushing to stay on schedule, he's not psychic so he cannot know the severity of each patient's issue and how long it will take prior their visit! Great doctor!
Macular degeneration of the left eye brought us to Dr. Sullivan, ophthalmologist. The doctor is professional, kind and caring, but it is the practice in itself that has problems. The first visit we were there for four hours with each consecutive visit 3 hours. You feel like you are cattle being herded from one room to another, each time with an approximate wait of 30 mins.
