I should have read the review before I committed to John as an appraiser. I have over 150 units in Schenectady and I've done 50+ transactions and this is probably the worst experience I had. As mentioned in the review before me, I had the exact same experience. I also felt I had to work around John's personal preference of avoiding traffic to schedule a appraisal.
Horrible appraiser, the guy genuinely does not know how to run comps. He even put the wrong zipcode for the properties that he listed for comps. I highly encourage other investors to avoid this guy at all costs.
