Dr. John Uecker has saved my mom's life! She had been carrying her goiter for more than 40 years and she is already 77 years old. We are from the Philippines and my mother got here in the US a year ago (2023). In the Philippines, she underwent for labworks, ct scan and ultrasound. Doctors advised that my mom's case was going to be complicated because of her age, goiter was too big and tumor has already been occupied her chest. Dr. Uecker injured my hepatic bile duct during gallbladder removal. He then ignored my symptoms and gaslit me while bile accumulated in my abdominal cavity. This bile accumulation eventually led to corrosion of my liver and diaphragm. I will have to live with liver issues the rest of my life, and am now in more debt than I could ever pay down.This man is dangerous, and a disgrace to surgeons everywhere. Seek treatment elsewhere.
He was suppose to do a surgery a month ago and Covid made it delay. Then he had me drive 3 hrs to see him in his office. He came in and said he didnt think he should do it because the risks were greater than the benefits. He could have said that over the phone or video chat. He wasted my time and money. I was at the hospital a month ago for the surgery and now I have to find another surgeon. This wasnt a elective surgery. My thyroid is giving me problems. Its hard to swallow food and meds at times. Unprofessional and hurt a patient during a surgery
Doctor Uecker is unprofessional. His skills as a surgeon are subpar. His morals as a practitioner are terrible. I can't go into detail or he will erase my review.
It was terrible, he is not a good doctor at all. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone go to him for surgery at all. Please do your research and be careful who you let work with your body. This doctor is negligent and does not care about his patients.

I have had 2 surgeries with Dr Uecker and he is amazing indeed. He really cares about his patients and is an excellent surgeon as well. Both my surgeries went very well and I highly recommend him
