Dr Aversa has all the components of the definition of a "Doctor". He is extremely knowledgeable, precise, professional, confident, in addition to human characteristics i.e. , kind, compassionate, concerned and overwhelming supportive. He is a source of wisdom not only for his profession but patients alike.
After a great deal of hesitation I currently need surgery. He spent a ridiculous amount of time with me discussing every aspect and every question I could think of. He gave me probabilities and honest answers-not just what I wanted to hear. I am likely the reason he was late for every appointment for the rest of the day. Relax people, waiting sucks. He gave me the attention I hoped for. I'm sure if you had the patience and let your ego go, you'd recognize his attention is a gift not a fault.
This MD has cared for me for years, and throughout these years I have searched out a team of health care providers that meet every last one of my stringent requirements. I am a male diagnosed with HPV, a potential cancer killer. Not only has he kept me alive and in top condition, but he has done so with a manner that is consistently kind, caring, respectful, and professional. I literally trust him with my life, and without hesitancy would refer anyone to him.
Have been seeing this doctor for about eight months now. He is always late for his appointments and never responds back with questions or concerns. The latest encounter that made me leave this review is him accusing me of not paying his co-pay even though I was not seen by him. He harassed me over the phone over this incident and denied me the antibiotics he had prescribed for my condition . This man disregarded my health for the sake of a co-pay that I offered to pay.
He saved my life with colon cancer, he is amazing as a doctor.
