Leslie Stuck, M.D. Top Notch Internist and World Class Physician I have been going to Dr. Leslie Stuck for approximately fifteen years. I have lived in twenty-two other locations and had a wide range of physicians as a result of my father's involvement with the field of medicine. I can say without reservation that Leslie Stuck is an amazing medical professional. She is caring and compassionate. I have never had an M.D. with a more polished "bedside manner" and this makes her truly exceptional. She is always current with rese... read more

A great internal medical practice I've been to several medical offices and am used to having to wait and the problems that are associated with many of them. Columbia Medical Associates has been the best experience I have had at a doctor's office. While it's hard to get an appointment with a physician there if you are not already seeing one, I never have to wait long to see my doctor because their scheduling is so well done.

Great female physician who is committed to her patients I relocated to Columbia from Houston and had to rely on references from trusted others when I began to receive health care locally. For the name of an internist, I turned to my sister, who was always so enthusiastic about Dr. Browning. After I got in to see her (and it did take awhile to get in for the first visit--she's so popular), I understood my sister's enthusiasm. Dr. B knows what she's doing, can get you in to see anybody on a referral very easily, and she's very... read more

The best medical care This teaching hospital in Charleston is the best place for care and research that I have ever encountered. I've had 2 surgeries there and the care was great.

Nice Hospital I wound up having to be admitted to Medical University of South Carolina back in March when I was bleeding in late pregnancy. They realized I might have pre-eclampsia. They decided to keep me overnight to check. We actually dont know if I had it because the baby died the next day, 20 days before his due date. The hospital staff took wonderful care of me & my family. We couldnt have asked for a better hospital to be in during that time. They were wonderful and caring.

Long waits, dirty, can't handle casts for broken limbs The MUSC emergency room is just that-- for EMERGENCIES only. When at all possible, go to Roper next door. They were unable to remove a cast on a broken leg when we returned from another country with a temporary cast that needed replacing. The ER beds were dirty, bodily fluids on the pillows and sheet on the gurney (someone else's), medical waste materials on the floor, unavailable medical staff, long waits... and if you're admitted, rumor has it that you'll be poked and ... read more
