Dr. Teahan is a superb, careful and knowledgeable doctor. He performed cataract surgery on me with stellar results. Not only do I see clearly and sharply, but the surgery also lowered my intraocular pressures considerably. He is honest and truly wants the best outcomes for his patients. He retired at the end of 2021 which is good for him and well deserved but is a loss to the opthamologic community in New Mexico.
Dr. Teahan handled a LASIK surgery for me 19 tears ago, and I could see perfectly afterwards. At that time I had monovision, which is one eye for reading and one eye for distance. Last year I discovered that I needed cataract surgery. This can be more complicated after LASIK surgery but Dr. Teahan did an amazing job. I have perfect vision and do not need reading glasses!
Dr. Teahan is a wonderful doctor. He thoroughly examined and explained the cataract removal process. It was painless and for that he's my favorite doctor. During follow ups my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome of my surgery. I've already referred him to a couple of others.

I have been going to Dr. Teahan since we moved from Chicago in 1997. I now live in Santa Fe and still make the drive to his office. He has done Lasic for me in early 1998. I feel that Dr. Teahan is a very fine doctor.
