As chefs and owners of John J. Jeffries, we designed our menu to be based on local, seasonal, sustainable and organic agriculture and delicious recipes. All of our meats are raised locally, confinement-free on fresh green grass pastures. No hormones, antibiotics, steroids or forced-fertilization occurs. Our produce is local organic or chemical free. JJJ has become our go-to place for special occasions. The food is always perfectly prepared and the service never disappoints. The chef is always creating something new and interesting... who would have thought of asparagus goat cheese flan, and then made it something to savor? Enthusiastically recommended!
Outstanding food! We enjoyed smoked trout, asparagus and blue cheese puff pastry tart, beef tacos, beet and bulgar salad, and liver and onions in a merlot reduction sauce. To top it off, we had honey lavender creme brûlée. So smooth and delicious! Any time we're in Lancaster, we'll definitely eat here!

We chose to dine at John J Jeffries before going to a party. Though we live in Hershey, we typically dine(d) at JJJ 1-2 times per month for 4 years, and usually paid $100-$200/meal for 2 people.
