The first home building experience in Fairfield was fine. This 2nd one in Colerain Township has been an absolute nightmare. During the build the basement kept flooding. The roof on the morning room blew off. There were a lot of delays. they were unresponsive. Although I finally made it into the house, they are still unresponsive. After I provided my 45 day walkthru results August 31st they still have not completed the list. The yard is a mess. A professional provided an assessment saying no grass will grow from. total silenc... read more
If you want the worst home buying experience in your life, go to John Henry Homes, they have you covered. This builder is a comedy of non-communication, non-response, no measurable customer service, terrible build quality, poor follow through and time lines of months to years that apparently are par for the course after reading the reviews. Please note the actual reviews not the sudden handful of 5 star reviews that are in the middle of all of the 1 star reviews. Seem a littl... Continue Reading

While we strongly disagree with this review and the assertions made, we continue to work with the Gaga's to address their concerns. We stand by our homes and have always been available to discuss their concerns.

This company is average at best. Poor sub contractors, cheap building products and average build oversight. Go elsewhere you can easily do better. Owners are not helpful and simply don't care about anything but profit. No pride in their builds. Don't believe me I will send photos of the poor work in my home.
We built with John Henry Homes in 2015 and have had issues from the beginning. Once this company has your money they are not at all responsive and do not care about their subpar work and materials. Save yourself a lot of stress and build with anyone but John Henry Homes.
John Henry has owed us warranty work for almost 3 years now. They use sub par contractors who do nothing but take short cuts. We have so many issues that we can't name them all but the newest discovery, is that we have a big problem with the roof not having wood sheeting in an area and the shingle guy shingled right over an empty space. We can't even get John Henry to answer emails or calls for weeks! And when they do, they just keep postponing us. Once they get their money, they don't care about fixing the mistakes their su... read more
John Henry home suck.....
We had a new home built in August of 2017. No complaints, process was painless and easy to navigate. This was the third house we have built and to me, the best quality built home. Been in the house over a year and still love the home as much as when we moved in. Thanks for making the build process as pain free as possible
I have a 9 year old house and I am constantly fixing items you can tell were obviously rushed. I think they used scrap shingles because everytine the wind blows I'm replacing shingles.
John Henry Homes has a 2.4 star rating with 68 reviews.
