Do not trust this company. My mom has been dead for three years and I have been trying to get a claim of a a measly $950. I have filled out every form they have asked for, tax form, death certificate and letter of NO probate, they continue to ask for an additional form after form. I can only imagine what they put people through who have a substantial $ claim. I will be contacting the BBB. Save yourself frustration andDo NOT PURCHASE A POLICY FROM THIS COMPANY.

John Hancock Life Insurance Company LTC did not process or notify me that my request for Coverage Changes dated 5/14/24 couldn't be processed. Only after the increased premiums took effect on 8/13/24 did I know that something was wrong. There were many phone calls and discussions that took place before we finally got the correct coverage changes processed and refunds made, after nearly a month had passed. Do NOT sign up for life insurance with John Hancock. I have been trying to close my father's 4 policies for over two months. There are no online accounts and you cannot create one. You are forced to call every time to go through a long process only to end up with a "rep" in the Philippines. They will try to help, but they have no idea what they are doing and will completely tell you misinformation. So I have learned to ask for the United States.
