I have lived at my property for more than 23 years, and for all of those years, John Hancock Life Insurance Company has continued to mail annual correspondence regarding a long-term care insurance policy belonging to the former owner of my home. The worst life insurance company ever. Try getting a surrender payment from them. They make you jump through more hoops than Barnum and Bailey's circus have! Don't buy from them! You will be sorry 😞
John Hancock Long Term Care Insurance is a total scam. My mom will get a fraction back of what she paid in. Had she just invested in the stock market she would have received 10x more money. Worst part is the endless run around to get claim approved and paid. It is really unbelievable. Run away from anything this company tries to sell.
Do not trust this company. My mom has been dead for three years and I have been trying to get a claim of a a measly $950. I have filled out every form they have asked for, tax form, death certificate and letter of NO probate, they continue to ask for an additional form after form. I can only imagine what they put people through who have a substantial $ claim. I will be contacting the BBB. Save yourself frustration andDo NOT PURCHASE A POLICY FROM THIS COMPANY.
