John Hancock Life Insurance Company LTC did not process or notify me that my request for Coverage Changes dated 5/14/24 couldn't be processed. Only after the increased premiums took effect on 8/13/24 did I know that something was wrong. There were many phone calls and discussions that took place before we finally got the correct coverage changes processed and refunds made, after nearly a month had passed. Do NOT sign up for life insurance with John Hancock. I have been trying to close my father's 4 policies for over two months. There are no online accounts and you cannot create one. You are forced to call every time to go through a long process only to end up with a "rep" in the Philippines. They will try to help, but they have no idea what they are doing and will completely tell you misinformation. So I have learned to ask for the United States. I’m sure John Hancock has plenty of money to invest as they withhold long term care insurance payments from their sick and elderly customers while disrespecting them, using stall tactics and going against their own mission statement and violating their own contracts with customers
