This man took my sad, broken leg and worked wonders with it in surgery. I'm still undergoing PT, but I remember even through the expected post-surgical pain, something felt "right" immediately after the surgery that hadn't before (post-break, and the decision was somewhat close whether to let naturally heal or install some plates and screws. Gross neglect. This man gave me MRSA and still let my shoulder die from a botched surgery. He didnt do what he told us he was doing. Only one small bit right but the rest killed my bone and he just left me like that in pain bone on bone. The outcome has been a useless shoulder and atrophied arm with a huge keliod scar that goes right into and through my armpit attaching my arm to my side. I have webbing and they covered it all up.
Other doctors said my broken bones were not fixable. Then I found this amazing doctor who did an operation that enables me to pick up my grandson and stay active. The best. A miracle worker.
ETA: my son had surgery with another ortho on October 12, 2023. It all went very well and he had no problems, his radial nerve was intact. I am so thankful that he finally got treatment that he so deserved. I am so thankful for Dr. Valente!!! He was on it from the beginning! No messing around! My son was in an accident on 9/22 and was immediately treated in a Syracuse ER where he was put in a cast and told to see a trauma ortho asap. He visited Dr. Gorczyca 3 days later.
