I saw Dr Garcia and we planed for a hernia surgery. Four days before my surgery I was called by someone working with him and told that I needed to have my GPs authorization before I can have the surgery, but my GP was out of town for the week, so I had to cancel my surgery. The day of the surgery I was called by the hospital and asked where I was and that I needed to get there asap. EXCELLENT,PROFESSIONAL, KIND ???????
Met DR. Garcia at his office. Seemed rushed. Had the procedure done with no problems. 6 weeks later I’m still fighting nausea and no appetite. Life has been miserable since surgery. Unless it’s a must don’t have this surgery. It completely ruined my life so far. I was active and stayed in shape. Not sure if I’ll be doing anything but sitting and sleeping in the near future.
I met Dr. Garcia once in order to get a procedure. He was kind and explained everything well. My surgery was scheduled 2 times and didn't happen because the office staff was slow to take care of business and get the insurance approved. Even though Dr. Garcia may be a skilled surgeon, I found his office staff to be insufficient when scheduling a surgery and communication was at a minimal level. Dr. Garcia is a wonderful person and very skilled surgeon. He cares about his patients and will take the time to make sure you get the best care possible. He is the type of doctor you trust going into surgery with, as scary as it is he has made the experience as seamless and comfortable as possible for me. Highly recommend for any of your general surgery needs, I can't say enough good things!
