Very knowledgeable and took my medical history into account when determining the best path to take. Friendly.
Dr. Burvant is competent and caring. My family and I have being going to him for years. He has done shoulder surgery on my daughter and two knee replacements on me. His nurse, Brenda, is a blessing. She was at my side at both knee surgeries.
Made appt. with sports medicine clinic in Boutte on hwy. 90 to see about pain in my shoulder. They scheduled me with Dr. Burvant. Had lots of paper work to fill out. Suggest getting there early. After filling out paper work, I was called to back within 15 minutes where I took x-rays. After that I saw him within a couple of minutes. He was friendly and attentive. After examination he came to the same conclusion I had. Gave me a cortisone shot in shoulder and made an appt. for 2 week follow up. Was very satisfied with visit.

Very interested and concerned about the problem. Asks lots of questions and gets a Clear vision on the path forward to fixing it.
Dr. Burvant waited for me to make the decision to have knee surgery. He didn't push me into the procedure.
