My appt with Dr Oneil is always pleasant & on time. Dr Oneil is warm & explains everything. He is always willing to answer any questions. I feel very confident in Dr Oneils judgment.
As always Dr. John was warm & professional ! My appointment was @ 11:15 and the nurse escorted me back @ 11:14 !! When does that ever happen in a Drs. office ?
Traumatizing
Dr O'Neill is a great doctor. He really listens and has provided appropriate treatments with explanations of what to expect etc. HOWEVER the office is the worst medical practice ever! They overbook, routine waits of an hour or longer past appointment time are standard. The office is overcrowded and even if covid is gone there are people who are coughing and sneezing. I always feel that I am in competent hands
I have been going to this practice for about 20 years with virtually no problems. Now that they are owned by Anne Arundel, you can’t talk directly to anyone in the office. I have been waiting over 10 days to have a pre-auth done so that I can get my medication. In that 10 days I have called 6 times and I keep being told “a message has been sent to the team” and I still got no reply. Dr. Oneil's care are was fine. However, office management is terrible! Do not recommend anyone at Anne Arundel Dermatology. He said, come back in a few weeks to check that things are fine. I did. The appointment lasted less than 2 minutes. I was billed full price (out of pocket cost = $74). I called to discuss at least 20 times. The office manager said she would call back, and never did. Even a clear decision not to reconsider this charge would have been appreciated.
I saw Dr O'Neill for an urgent problem. His staff made an appointment immediately and he was very professional and kind. He helped me and is an extremely competent Doctor. I recommend him highly!
(I thought id submitted this yesterday; so this may be a repeat....but doesn't appear so. Ive seen Dr. Oneill for a number of years--after he was recommended by a close friend. He's been very professional and totally responsive and helpful throughout, including when i had various stages of skin cancer (mainly Basal). I trust him completely.
