Management very hard to deal with after mom died. We have been lied to more than once about refunds due her after she passed and what was due her estate. Recently Unitypoint hospice gifted some money to mom's account there which was to be put toward her rent refund (which we didnt receive for 4 months after her death). They now are refusing to forward that gift to her estate, indicating it has been forwarded to Medicaid. That was not the intent of that gift. run from this place, dont walk.

this place is a big bunch of thieves. tried stealing. my son's Roth IRA. bunch of crap!
Their facility is clean and their staff is friendly, caring and helpful.
After visiting multiple local retirement centers, I came across John M. Evans Living Community. I am so impressed with how It feels like home and the staff is really nice and caring. Laurie Hill has been so nice and helpful and the place is so nice and clean. I am thankful that there is a place for mom that I am finally comfortable with.
My mom has lived there for seven years now. The staff is excellent and responsive; I'd start to list them by name, but I would end up missing someone - they all really are fun, caring, great people. The care Mom receives while she is still living independently is a blessing to me. Congrats on ten wonderful years!
My mother has lived there since the day they opened! She loves everyone there and they treat her so special!
I had a yummy lunch with my mom and dad. Great place! I love that I can eat with them without getting them out in this yucky weather�
