My son has knee problem. He visited Dr. Deitch one and half years ago. My son trusted Dr. Deitch who can deal with his problem probably, However, every time visiting him, He fooled him around said you are very well although he was not well and even got worse . He did not listen to my son's problem and should have found out a solution for him instead Dr. Deitch rushed him out of the door Dr. Deitch has not empathy, so did his staff. Agree with previous reviews - offers choice of surgery vs no surgery. Does not tell me how the outcome will differ. Once I said no surgery unless totally necessary - sends me off to PT. Follow up appointment - sees me for less than 5 minutes said it was better and heads out. 1 year later am still in pain. Really bad PCL tear, am in pain every day, job requires prolonged standing. Refuses to even write note for work.
He's quite brusque, doesn't take a personal interest in you as a person, terrible bedside manner, and once I said I wasn't interested in a surgery (that had 50/50 odds of making my injury better or much, much worse), he basically wrote me off and discharged me from his care. My injury will never be 100% better. Heck, my last visit with him, he MAYBE was in the room for 4 minutes TOPS, and I had waited about 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time (no apologies for the wait either).
