Medically professional and personable. Surrounded by a first class staff. Takes time to listen. Dr Day replaced my right knee in December 2018. The entire process was better than anticipated. Dr Day will be replacing my left knee in February 2019.
Very knowledgeable physician, very concerned with patient care, excellent with shoulders, knees and hips, would recommend this ortho to everyone with pain issues on shoulders, knees, and hips
My experience with Dr Day was okay except for the fact that I waited 40 minutes to be called back upon my initial consultation. The next visit i waited 1 hour and 40 minutes and on my third visit I waited 1 hour and 35 minutes before I got up and left the office. Not once was there an explanation or apology for the delays.
This was my initial consultation with Dr. John Day, MD, and I could not have been happier with the outcome, after taking X-rays of my left knee. Dr. Day advised that surgery was not warranted at this time, but recommended that he give me a Cortisone injection to help repair my knee faster. There was NO PAIN with the injection (entry of the needle) and only a VERY minor sensation of pressure & warmth as the serum entered the knee area. I'd say that he was masterful ! I'd highly recommend him!
John Day MD is an excellent orthopaedic surgent. My recovery from total knee replacement was shorter then I anticipated and I had very little bruising. I will return to Dr. Day if I need my other knee replaced in the future. Great Doctor and great staff.

Very disappointed in the experience. He was in such a rush after coming to the room an hour after appointment. Said could not figure out what was wrong with my child's knee. Referred to vascular surgeon only to figure out that they don't see children, and that too through a friend. Dr. Day had no idea about that before referring my child.Took my child to emergency room to pay $350 out of pocket. Paid another $450 for MRI. Sad that Dr. Day was such a disappointment.
