Dr. John David Chico — Point Loma Lead Physician. I was bounced between multiple Kaiser doctors who gave me completely contradictory advice regarding my H. pylori diagnosis with no coordination of care whatsoever. When I raised concerns, Dr. Chico responded claiming Gastroenterology had attempted to contact me — however my call logs show zero incoming calls from Kaiser during that period. I had an over the phone appointment with Dr. Chico and never got a call or appointment cancellation notification. Called the main line to request an update and they couldn’t give me information as the doctor did not make note of anything. This was a huge inconvenience and unprofessionalism from Dr. Chicos office.
As I get older, and seem to be affected by more illnesses and sickness, Dr Chico has been the best doctor I've had at Kaiser. I highly recommend him.
