I had a family member in ICU in January. The dayshift nurse displayed a negative attitude, as did the CNA. The night shift was also subpar in terms of attitude. My family member was there for about a week. However, towards the weekend, we encountered some exceptional nurses and a CNA. I had a procedure performed at Archbold in-patient Radiology and had a great experience. Everyone went out of their way to insure my comfort and safety. I appreciate all of their kindnesses.
Staff are attentive when you ask. Looks like they are under staff. Family members says pain management is a problem for her. Needs more communication between staff family and patient .
Rachel Sanders, RN was the absolute best nurse I have ever had!!! She was so attentive and really cared about me. I felt like I had known her forever and it was such a great experience for my first time at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital all because of her!! She is really one of the best and so awesome at her job! She is so deserving of an award for her amazing job well done!
