Just met with Dr Elfar and his team yesterday (Dr Kim too!) I am so impressed with the way I was treated. First of all- the wait time was almost nothing. Secondly, I feel I was respected and heard. Most importantly, the doctor recommended the best treatment for me at this time. I would recommend him to anyone who asks.
I met Dr Elfar many years ago at University of Rochester Medical Center when he was a Resident. We worked together in the ED and back then I recognized the great talent he had. In 2013 I became a patient of his when I fractured my left elbow and he did a tendon transfer to stabilize the badly injured joint. He predicted I would need an elbow replacement. 12 years later this badly injured joint is now screaming to be traded in for a new model. This is tough pain now.
