We took our son to PAMF urgent care for vomiting and abdominal pain, and he was assigned to this doctor, who isn't very good with children and has an unkind attitude. I'm not sure if the doctor was having a bad day or if he has something against people of color, but the visit was unpleasant and unhelpful.
Dr. Whitney saved our son’s life. A couple months ago, we took our son to Urgent Care because he had been running a high fever and it wasn’t improving. To be exact, it was our second visit. During our first appointment with a different doctor, we were refused any tests and told that 4 days of 104F fever were OK for a viral infection. Well, I have very serious doubts about it now. Dr Withney was my daughter's doctor at Los Gatos Urgent care. He was very thoughtful and thorough. I was impressed by his experience and knowledge and skills. He explained all steps needed to rule out things and immediately ordered tests. He called me back later to see if i have any questions or concerns. Thank you Dr. Withney!
I was very impressed by Dr Whitney! I randomly was connected to him through an urgent care video visit this month for a very concerning rash with hives that my child was having. Dr Whitney was very professional, smart, compassionate, knowledgeable, direct and to the point, and helped me to understand the complex combination of issues my ill child was suffering from.
