This surgeon "fixed" my mom's knee & less than a week after surgery her pain was worse than before. Like she does water aerobics, gardening , works full time at her church is in tears and can't cuz this *"doctor"* . They sent her drugs, of course. won't see her won't callback and there is a hx of fracture and infection to the bone. The surgery pain has healed. The doctor did a good job (he didn’t damage anything at least) but he didn’t do spectacular either. I’m requiring a third surgery because he didn’t finish the job up on my arm all the way. I still have a 20 degree varus deformity in my arm which I explained is still causing pain so I’m seeing another specialist who is looking forward to fixing it and he already has a plan in mind. I was referred to Dr. Neilson because I had bone cancer in my right femur bone and a bad right hip. Dr. Neilson and his staff got me in for surgery within about 2 weeks. While in surgery Dr. Neilson removed about 5 inches of my femur bone taking out all of the cancer, he then did a hip replacement on my right hip. I’m 2 months removed from surgery and I am walking with a walker and my recovery is ahead of schedule according to my therapist.
