In mere mins, he diagnosed and put a name to a condition I'd been very concerned about, which my own specialist (who should also have been able to diagnose it) had rudely dismissed as being 'in my head' and not a physical problem. He gave me options to correct it as well as great relief that I wasn't 'crazy'. He listened, was very attentive and patiently answered all of my questions. His next (and last) appt cancelled and he spent that extra time with me rather than going home early on a Friday.
I was very nervous about meeting a new neurologist after my last experience where I was totally dismissed and ignored. I shouldn't have been. He was very attentive and thorough. He listened to me and didn't treat me as odd. He also gives me credit for knowing my own health and is letting me lead in the care of me. He offered suggestions, but didn't push anything. Gave me more information to help me make a decision on care when I asked. I left feeling very happy and heard.
