Nice Bar area I've recently been at the John Brewers Tavern in Malden and was very happy with my experience. There was more than adequate parking and I was very pleased with the customer service at the bar. They have a bunch of HD TV's to watch the game on and the food was pretty good too. It is relatively new in Malden and I would visit there again.
Raw Chicken at John Brewer's An earlier patron commented that the chicken they were served was too raw. In many parts of the world, people eat and enjoy raw chicken. The fine quality of this restaurant's food should not be disparaged by an American-centric taste for chicken that is cooked. Customers be polite! great place good food, good atmosphere. Sat in the bar area and there was tv's for sports and what not. Definetly will go again in the near future.
Convenient location, good grub It may not be to everyone's liking, but I like John Brewer's. Good pub grub, reasonable prices, friendly wait staff. The bar area can get busy after work hours but I've never had a problem with it being too crowded. But even when crowded, it isn't too long of a wait for a table.
Kind of townie I guess I was fooled by the name, I thought this would be a brewery. It's not. If you're looking for Bud Light, this is your place. The food is boring and served cold, the waitstaff couldn't care less about you, unless you happen to have lived in town your entire life, in which case you get star treatment (but the same boring food).
