I recently had a hip fracture unexpectedly about 6 weeks ago. I was very nervous and scared at the hospital. Dr. Attenello introduced himself to me prior to surgery. When I saw him for the follow-up visit he assured me that I was doing well. He showed me my x-rays. He took some pictures of my incision for me, we talked and we laughed about a few things. Our experience with doctor John Attenello was simply exceptional. My mother, age 86, with an old femoral fracture and a metal plate implant, fractured her femur again on the same leg. I was fortunate enough to be treated by Dr. Atenello for back surgery for a herniated disc. He placed two plates and four screws. It sounds gruesome, and it was, but it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. My recovery was quick and painless. This surgery changed my life.
