After being referred by my general practitioner my initial visit was fine and hudak said he would schedule a procedure to check for possible cancer..... first and last time I ever heard from him.after waiting a few weeks and attempting to contact his office no return phone calls or communication. I have insurance and paid my bill .no excuses for this behavior .can't unrecommended him enough.

Dr. Houdak is the most caring Dr. I have ever had in my 76 years on this earth. He is a fantastic Dr. In that you know he really cares about his patients.There are very few doctors in today's society who show this degree of caring. His follow up with me has also been great. He is the only doctor who I do not mind waiting for in his office. This is because I know he is always going out of his way to CARE for his patients. I would not visit this provider again. The office staff was unprofessional and the doctor's communication style was rude. During multiple visits, my family member did not receive necessary testing for a suspected infection, which was later identified by a home nurse. The staff was dishonest about completing certain procedures, and when we raised concerns, the doctor threatened to stop treatment. The overall experience was unacceptable due to the office's practices and the provider's disrespectful attitude.

No doubt that he is very knowledgeable and rambling in details that soon has me lost. I ask question(s) and they usually are obviously not appreciated. He is never anywhere close to being on time for the appointment, does not matter if AM or PM. Standard wait time to see him is 1 to 2 hours after my appointment time, then he finally arrives. That is very discourteous as I have 2 small businesses that demand my time. Then he does not want to take time with me. And charges Medicare a very inflated 'time' bill. My husband’s initial visit went well. However, after the second round of testing was completed and results were back, Dr. Hudak did not call my husband at the scheduled time to talk about the results (on Zoom). My husband called the office several times and so did I. We both left several messages. Finally after several weeks, we got a call from someone who said “our phone lines are messed up, the dr will call you when the lines get straightened out.” That was a few months ago!! I will never recommend this dr.

I have been a patient for many years. I believe he really cares about his patients. I know he is super busy but when I called his office the other day, they got back to me in less than a hour and a half. And scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. You can’t expect that from a lot of medical facilities. He’s a good MD.
