Every time I’ve come here, the staff are so kind and attentive, and make me feel safe and important. I really appreciate them! In the past I’ve always gone to IHC Riverton and am treated awful and forgotten about. The south Jordan UofU ER is a complete 180 of that.

I’ve been to this office before without problems. Service and communication was great once and the next visit was the opposite. The doctor’s belly was on my thighs for most of it and he had a spitting problem. This review isn’t on a personal issue, it’s professional. I explained that I had seen an optometrist to check the Rx of my current contacts. I was given a new one. The exam showed a retinal tear and I was referred to a surgeon. The psychologist was great, so I was feeling hopeful. But then I waited 45 minutes for the physical therapist to come in, he had a doctor with him who asked me the same three questions over and over and over. It would have been nice if University of Utah Health had notified the patients of the physicians at the South Ogden Clinic that the office would be closing permanently August 31st. I've been seeing a doctor at this clinic for four years now, and I only found out they had closed because I called the office today (09/15/2021) to see why my doctor hadn't called in a refill of one of my medications to my pharmacy. They could have at least sent out a letter or a text to let me know they were closing. Five stars for the medical ca... read more

They have really limited hours and are IMPOSSIBLE to reach over the phone. Even if you plan ahead and do everything right they will make you wait at least 20 additional minutes to do even the most straightforward thing. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. The optical shop sucks.
