He did not explain to me all of the side effects of my surgery before I made the decision to have the procedure. If I had known this, I would have made another choice. Now I am left with a very serious problem that can not be fixed. I believe he deliberately refused to tell me of this side effect because he was afraid I would choose not to have the procedure, therefore he would not receive money. Should be a lawsuit!
Interested in doing surgical procedure---not interested in post surgical follow up-impossible to communicate with potential issues or complications following surgery-- OK if everything goes fine--- YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN if it doesn't

Very friendly and professional bedside manners. Listen to my questions and concerns. Just felt a little rushed, but understandable as it is a very busy office.

I was referred to Dr. Kirkland for a recurrent urinary tract infection. As a female, I cannot recommend this doctor to any female patients. He had little to no knowledge about the differences in the female anatomy or our unique genitourinary needs. It appears another female patient left a negative review about feeling belittled by this doctor. I second that experience. Dr Kirkland is excellent he has been my dr for several years he removed a kidney had always listened an runs necessary tests, discussed every alternative an takes the time to explain all
Dr. Kirkland was very rude and belittling to me. I would not recommend him to anyone. I have never experienced the level of disrespect from a doctor like I did from him. He rushed talking to me, told me my cancer was not a big deal and then said he had other patients to see without saying goodbye,giving me a handshake, asking was I ok or anything. If you want to be treated with respect he is not the physician for you.
I've seen Dr. Kirkland for years and he provides excellent care. He actually as a personality too, which many doctors do not.
