We live in Lubbock and see Dr. Bertelson at Texas Tech. My wife suffers from moderate dementia, which began about 5 years ago. Dr. Bertelson treats her like a family member and is so very courteous and professional with us. He explains, in depth, what our options are which unfortunately, are very little with this disease. With this being said however, Dr. Bertelson, would be the right physician to treat your loved one for any neurological disease. He is the best.......
This is my wife's 2nd consultation/visit with Dr. Bertelson and as before, we are very pleased with the attention he afforded us. He is very detailed and helps us understand my wife's issues and suggestions as what we might/could do in her situation. We find him to be a good listener and explains the issues very well. I was very relaxed in his presence. He is extremely good at communicating. He is both friendly and professional in his manner.
So happy my dad got to see Dr. B, he was so kind and caring snd took time to go over medical exam results to help my mom understand what was happening with my father.
Takes time to listen not only to my loved one's needs but also to mine. I like the fact that family is included in the visits and the staff is always willing to help.
Reviews help. I got a referral for a few doctors. After reviewing these reviews, Dr. Bertelson is the one I will choose to see my dad. I will certainly return with my full review after our visit. Thanks Update: Turns out Dr.Bertelson, does not see patients for what my dad is experiencing. Although Dr. Bertelson has great reviews, the girl "Tonya" in his office is a very RUDE person. Surely Dr. Bertelson does not know how Tonya treats his future patients or patients.
Hi, If you're looking for a good Dr. that is educated on the brain, "Dr. B" as we call him, is the perfect one! Unfortunately, I suffered a brain injury & was in acoma for several weeks. They gave me only a small percentage of a chance to live. Well, thank goodness I did. I'm beyond thankful. Bertelson My experience with Dr. B was great! I had more than a couple of doctors but he was the best! He was always so welcoming, educating & explaining. I hope everything works out for you & your family!
