I began seeing Joey with my now ex-partner (JS) to overcome some communication issues and an episode of physical violence. JS is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict but continued to utilize drugs. Over the next year, we continued to see Joey on a regular basis. But Joey ignored the issues with JS with drugs and alcohol and the issues become bigger and bigger. It is my pleasure to leave Joey's first review on Google. In only a couple of visits he has shown that he cares on so many levels. He's helping me recover from a 12 year long toxic relationship and his understanding of the unique challenges faced by gay men married or committed is so incredibly helpful. He is supportive but gives feedback appropriately. His office is comfortable and he is clearly very well trained in psychotherapy. As a healthcare practitioner myself I recommend him without reservation.
