Food was great, but the service was bad. We waited way too long for our food and the our check. Plus if you are going to have certain people wear risque shirts, they should have the matching body structure to do so. It was very hot in the restaurant too, you could see the customers were sweating.
Really good Tex-Mex style cuisine. I've heard that the BBQ is outstanding, but that is something I have not tried. My favorites: the Grande Burrito and the Plan A burger. So freaking good!!
Very pricey drinks! $11 for a tiny margarita! And only got bc 3 or 4 other beer selections were not available. Food was ok but not worth the $70 bill. Wouldn't allow a same day $5 off coupon. Not a good way to gain a repeat customer. Needless to say, I won't be back.
Found Joey C's by chance on a recent road trip - absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere! All 3 of us agreed this was a great combination of bbq and mexican food complimenting each other very well! Thank you - this was the highlight of our trip!
My first experience at the roadhouse was interesting. I was on a blind date and meeting someone for the first time. The date was very disappointing. And that's an understatement. But I figured it's only dinner and I asked my waitress, Kim, to check on me periodically. She went above and beyond and literally kept me company and made my date bearable. The food was delicious.
