Professional, Prompt and Practical! Joey has been my stylist for 13 years. What I love about the experience is his professionalism, his promptness and punctuality and his practicality. Prospective clients please beware! Thankfully, I did not get to experience having my hair done by Joey. I had a consultation and made an appointment for the Brazilian Blowout for the next week. I like to educate myself on what is being done to my hair. After some research I emailed Joey and asked about his air filtration system. The BB emits formaldehyde gas during the flat ironing process and I wanted to ensure that an air filtration system was being used. I was shocked by his response back, that he would be canceling my ap... read more
The Best Stylist Joey is the best! He is very professional and gives each client personal attention. Joey has been my stylist since 1998 and he is simply amazing. When I was ready to go natural, he walked me step by step through the process. He was very attentive to every detail of the process. Although I am not in the salon very often these days, he still manages to pick up the conversation from my last visit. I always look forward to my visits to the salon because the environment is relaxing and Joey takes care of my hair.

I made an appointment with Kimbra Thompson to get a relaxer retouch. She had already started applying the relaxer when she said she didn't baste the scalp, and then asked me if that was alright with me. It was already too late to stop the application so I said yes. She applied the relaxer quickly and thankfully I didn't get a chemical burn. I knew the relaxer didn't have time... read more
