I just bought a truck that had a transmission rebuild 2 years ago from Joe’s. This truck was in for its service fluid/filter change 2 months ago. I was unable to test drive the truck due to a front u joint issue. Once I got the truck drivable I noticed there was no 1st gear. Joes couldn’t get me in for an appointment for a month so I decided to do my own fluid/filter change and when I dropped the pan the filter and 2 mounting screws were laying in the bottom of the pan. My son was looking for a transmission shop to rebuild the transmission in his 1972 olds cutlass, after being told about Joe’s transmission shop in Niagara Falls we decided to give them a try, called and talked with ryan and told him our plans for the rebuild on our 4L65E and Ryan explained everything about our concerns, dropped of transmission and after a while joe called and gave us the news on what we needed as far as repairs and updated performance parts we needed, Joe also had a special Torque converter made for our tran... read more
