We make a variety of 12 different pasties 5 days a week using local and organic meats and veggies! Never any hydrogenated oils or trans fats & we never use any preservatives. Pasties are made fresh from scratch, prebaked and SOLD FROZEN to take home for a meal later on. Since we are a very small family owned business we CLOSE twice a year; the month of April and the week following Labor Day. We are also closed all Holidays. Wonderful!!! We both had Bacon cheeseburger & they were perfection! Then we had the yummy Apple cinnamon raisin scones for dessert... OMG... Talk about overload! We will definitely be back over & over again!
My new favorite restaurant in Rhinelander. Everything is fresh and local. The perfect pasty crust.
I have been eating Joe's pasties since I could chew solid food. My dad would take us to the Shop in Ironwood for lunch all the time. Still my favorite stop. Have a hot fresh pasty (with catsup) a cold coke, and pick up a dozen frozen ones for home ~ Perfection.
Picked up some frozen ones when I was up at Hodag.... Best pasties ever!!
Just stopped and had a pizza pasty on my way to Beer Fest ... it was the first pizza pasty I've ever had and I was absolutely delicious, just like every other pasty I've had there! I can't recommend this place enough! :-)
I used to stop here to pick up lunch when I had to drive up to Rhinelander for work every other week. Now that I've moved to MN, I haven't found anything like it! I miss the breakfast pasty, southwest chicken pasty, and the basil lemonade in the summer months. Great local business with cozy food. I hope to have a chance to stop by one of these days when visiting Wisco to get some frozen. :)
Best damn pasties in the Northwoods The breakfast pastie is my all-time favorite
