About this business
We make a variety of 12 different pasties 5 days a week using local and organic meats and veggies! Never any hydrogenated oils or trans fats & we never use any preservatives. Pasties are made fresh from scratch, prebaked and SOLD FROZEN to take home for a meal later on. Since we are a very small family owned business we CLOSE twice a year; the month of April and the week following Labor Day. We are also closed all Holidays. My parents were born and raised in the UP. Since I was a small child some 65 years ago I have been to every pasty shop on Earth. I can say, without equivocation that this is the finest pasty I have ever had. I have had a hundred or so pasties from shops all over the Midwest, and this was the best I have ever had. I am an old school pasty eater, so I ordered the Cornish variety.. I thawed it before reheating. It was wonderfully good! I am now a lifetime customer!

Finally made it there today. The pizza pasty was great. Can't wait to try the breakfast pasty tomorrow morning.
Finally had time to stop after I worked in Rhinelander, 10/11/17. Purchased a few Cornish pasties. Yum!!! The flavor, the generous amount of filling and flakiness of the crust were wonderful. Jessica was very receptive while I reminisced about my ski/snowshoe trips to the U.P. Thanks for all you do to continue the pasty tradition.
Wow I just had a cheeseburger pasty for dinner and my taste buds are so happy. We took a trip to the U.P. and we had a hot pasty while on our trip but was wishing we would of brought back some frozen ones. Lucky for us when headed back to Hudson Wisconsin we came across Joe’s in Rhinelander. We will be ordering some for sure to be mailed to us. Thanks for making great pasties.

So glad Joe's is up and running! We've had traditional, bacon cheeseburger, and veggie pasties in the last few days and crave more, more, more! The owners, Jessica and Larry, could not be friendlier so visiting Joe's is a win-win situation. Oh, and the local ingredients make for a win-win-win!
My husband brought pasties home for dinner and they were all amazing. We will definitely get them again!
