I went to Joe's General Auto in Shakopee because they were advertising a very inexpensive $43.77 full synthetic oil change. The price is genuinely attractive, and that is what brought me in. What I was not expecting was for an employee to take my vehicle out on a public road and test-drive it without first asking for my permission. I observed the employee driving in a manner that included noticeable swerving. Had to have my vehicle towed to Joe’s because it died on the freeway. They charged me over $1400 to fix it and said they fixed it but it broke down not even 20 miles from leaving the shop. They charged me $300 to install a new battery, did a wheel alignment, and replaced a sway bar. Did not fix the problem at all but made other corrections that were not at all needed. Be careful that they don’t take you over the coals like they did me. 0 stars!
