Biggest scam in town. If you get your car towed on a Friday you have 4 hours on Saturday to get it out. Get towed anytime after noon on Saturday and you have no chance of getting your car back until Monday. Sunday they're closed and guess what? You get charged. Great guys, right? Joes Auto has been set up in such a way so that it makes getting your vehicle out of impound as difficult as possible at the times in which you need their services the most. Joe's Auto- reasonable- repairs done right the first time! I've lived in Stow for 20 years and never had a problem using Joes Auto for servicing my cars over the years. The prices are reasonable and never had a problem with any repair over the years. The only regret I have was when I took myToyota to the dealer instead of Joe's. The Toyota dealer charged me almost $1000 for a job that Joe's gave me a quote for $625. Of course the dealer lied to me and said they misquoted me with a $650 estimate - ouch! Excellent Towing Service Whether towing a jalopy or an exotic car, this service always has excellent service and takes great care to load your car without damaging it. We have a very small, low to the ground car that was really difficult to load on a flatbed. It took over 20 minutes to load it but there was not a scratch on it. I let them know that I was sorry it was so difficult and the driver smiled and reassured me that they always take great pains to make sure they do a great job. Locked Out of my rental car Good service and a fair price. I had somehow locked myself out of a running rental car while scraping snow. While the dispatcher didn't sound too thrilled to hear from me at 9:15 on a Sunday morning, the tech was friendly, professional and capable. The tech (5 stars for Justin) was here and gone in about 30 minutes.
Joe's Auto leaves women stranded at night What a terribly disappointing experience. I havenât received service as bad as this in a very long time. Joeâs Auto absolutely left me cold, as well and high and dry at night in a rough neigborhood. 11/30/2007 At 5:15pm I activated service call 6732. At 7:30pm the driver arrivedâ¦with attitude. For 2.5 hours I waited in a bad neighborhood, in the cold. Every 30 minutes I called AAA, who in turn called Joeâs Auto, who told us that the driver was refueling for 30 minutes. Then t... read more
