Joe's American Bar Great food, a little pricy , but good portions and great atmosphere. The bibs and burgers are excellant. Desert's vary, but are alos very, very good
What an American restaurant should be! The place isn't cheap, but then neither is anything about Joe's: the meals are ample and well made. The staff is courteous, the bar is stocked with just about everything you'd want to ask for, and the coffee is excellent. Yes, there is almost always a wait to get in, particularly on weekend evenings. But it's worth it, which is why people are there in the first place! And the line does move at a good clip. DISGUSTING AND FOUL If you have alot of money to spend and want to spend it on this place- or say, burn it to shreds, I'd say honestly they are equal. We have been here 3x and each time we went home dissatisfied and really feeling ripped off and hungry. This place just SUCKS and I can't imagine that it is going to be in business much longer. It's that bad. Food quality very low. Very badly prepared. Waitstaff is crazily bad- the worst I have encountered in Fairfield County.
you'll definitely go back more than once! Joe's is a great place for a good, filling, American meal. Their menu is mostly steaks, burgers, chicken, pasta, and dinner salads. They are a little pricey ($12-$20 for a dinner...), but well worth it. My gosh...the bread the give you alone with worth it!! You will have to wait if you go on a weekend, but it's worth it. This is such a great place to eat! PROS: really good food CONS: always a wait to get in
Joe's American Bar & Grill is great for drinks and a game great spot to have a drink with some friends. A bit loud but if you want to watch Monday night football- I would recommend it.
Joes American Bar & Grille A bit on the pricey side, but the food is excellent! The staff is awesome at making you comfortable. We have been treated to many a lunches here, by our bosses.
