Best pork sandwiches and sausage wraps in the state. And the staff and customers are so nice and down to earth. I moved to California 4 years ago and returned to visit Houston and made my friends road trip it Flatonia just for a Joel’s lunch!
Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but the brisket was dry. And the lady behind the counter rude.
I’ve been stopping at Joel’s for over 30 years. Good bbq. , love they’re beans, and their dried sausage ring has always been a hit. Recommended stop when traveling I-10.
