Its okay, nothing to write home about. I really like Elgin hot dausage but bad weather stoped us from driving up that way, oh well maybe next time. Joels is okay.

Great Brisket and the barbecue Chicken
It was very good.. The food was great and the workers were awesome.. Will definitely go again when I'm in that area..
When you go to a bbq place in Texas it’s automatically expected to be good, especially if they are advertising from the freeway. It was old and dry and cold. The brisket was so thing and dry and the sausage was almost like jerky. The only reason I give it a 2 is because the pecan pie was great. If you ask the lady at the register I’d something is good she just shrugs her shoulders and makes a face. Haha should have listened to her reaction. Been stopping by here on the way to Houston since I was youngin have yet to be disappointed.
Loved this place and always stop on my way to and from Houston!
Very average food. Not served warm. Customer service has an attitude plus they charge for refills. I would recommend a different spot!
Great brisket, potato salad. Beans not outstanding. Wish they had free beans.
