Having moved to Seattle, it has been a couple years since I have been to Joel's. However, it is the first place I will stop when I get into town. The customer service is personable and genuine, and the food is delicious!! The owners and the staff go out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. Whether you are a Sandpoint native or there for vacation, do yourself a favor and go to Joel's!
Joel's has hands down the best customer interactions I have ever gotten in any restaurant. Ever. Having had really great service before, what makes this stand out is Joel himself has not only remembered my name each time I've gone in (about twice a year) since I first went in 2012, but seems to genuinely care about all his friends/customers day-to-day lives. Nothing better than Joel's for lunch! We love the shrimp tacos and poppers, thanks Joel's for always having great Mexican!
My wife and I are here yesterday for he first time it was great! Being from Texas this is the closest thing we've found to authentic Mexican food in Idaho. Highly recommend eating here. Great food and great service but I'd say get here early for lunch because the line will back up down the sidewalk.
