He is a xenophobe. I sent my parents to see him for help and found him to be helpful until my mother reported that he made some very innapropriate comments about our Jewish heritage where he made "jokes" about things he thought were stereotypical Jewish things. I understand that he is a Christian and as one he should act in accordance to Jesus's teachings and treat EVERYONE with respect.
Dr. Morton is both caring and skilled and had made an incredible difference in the life of my severely autistic son. He promptly returns calls personally and goes out of his way to be attentive and helpful. Our family is very grateful for his expertise and highly recommend him to anyone with a complex case that requires patience and determination to find the right answers for themselves or their loved one.
My mother, who is bipolar, was Mr. Morton's patient. She told him she was going to stop taking her medication and that she didn't need to see him anymore. He allowed this. I later learned that he was prescribing her only Lexapro, an antidepressant. It is dangerous for any bipolar patient to solely take an antidepressant as it increases risk of mania, which is exactly what happened. After another suicide attempt my Mother is hospitalized. I called him last week and have yet to hear back.
Doctor Morton is an exceptional diagnostician and a wonderfully humane man. I would be honoured to refer any patient to him. Thank you. Lynda E Also his wife is a remarkable lady and takes care of all the office needs wonderfully
dr. morten, doesn't take care of his patients, he has too many and he's unable to care for his patients properly. Dr. morten said ,he was available on the weekends for emergencies, and that clearly was not the case, I called on a wed. never returned my called and then I called on fri and Sunday still never returned call.
