I am sure Dr. Wilkerson is knowledgeable, highly skilled, and one of the top in his field. He came highly recommended by a friend of mine. However for me I experienced him as very insensitive, vague in his assessment, and thoughtless in his response to my family planning concerns as a healthy 33 year old. I left his office feeling like a condemned statistic and not a person. I never went back to his office after what he said to me.
He has been my PCP for 20 years. Although walk-in visits require you to wait, his bedside manner, and genuine concern for his patients overrides the long wait. His staff is always friendly and caring. Don't want the long wait, then make an appointment; far less waiting time.
Great doctor, But just get there early, very nice staff
