Dr. Trachtenberg has been excellent to work with from the start. He demonstrated great care for the patient while working with me. He is very clear about all options and wanted my opinion on what was discussed. I wish he was available as a general physician.
Dr T treated me once for sepsis and I did well. I recently contract c. glabrata and he will not see me, even though I am a former patient. His admin told me to send in test results for my "new" infection. Once he had the test results, he refused to see me, and I had to call his office just to find out, after waiting for several days to get his verdict. Never have I worked with a more disorganized office. Tell me that labs are ordered. Only to show up and have them have no record of it. Come back days later only experience the same thing. Poor management is an understatement. Dr. Trachtenberg loves leading with fear tactics if I could give zero stars I would.
Absolutely RUDE and condescending! I unfortunately had to interact with him for a patient of ours, and he was just that, rude and condescending for absolutely no fault of my own (or other staff that he talked with) when we were simply trying to help him. All he did was chew us out and shoot the messenger. Multiple patients of ours feel the same way about him. Would not recommend him. Go somewhere else if you can.
Dr. Trachtenberg saved my life! I had been misdiagnosed by another doctor and finally sent to Dr. Trachtenberg, who immediately saw the problem, admitted me to the hospital, treated the problem. He has been my doctor and my hero ever since! I would not go to anyone else. I would give him 10+ stars recommend him to everyone. He is the BEST!
