Repaired & replaced some leaky taps. Very prompt service, job well done and no problems.
Called about a job, told him about the issue and what time I'd be home and said he was keen. I then asked what his hourly rate was, he immediately said he was no longer interested.... there was no explanation, just a rude "i'm not interested any more". I didn't ask him for a quote before looking at the job, I didn't try to haggle the price (he didnt even tell me his rate), i just wanted to know his hourly rate so I knew what I was getting in for.
