Guy spent about 5 minutes with me. Looked at my scalp, zapped a few lesions with LN, said topical treatments don't do any good after asking him which one is best. Left 6 lesions untreated with no advice. So I'm left with needing a real dermatologist who can finish job or give me some treatment plan. Herron charged Medicare $499. Medicare paid $300.93. My copay is $60.18. Unbelievable! I'm trying to fill out complaint form to the Ohio Medical Board. Something has to be done about Herron's greed at patient's expense.

After a initial visit I had to schedule surgery to remove a cancer. The night before I received a call cancelling my surgery because they no longer accepted my insurance. I was left in the cold after waiting several weeks for my surgery date. They gave me no referral and wanted to charge me $35 per page for my records/ lab results which had already been paid for by my insurance and my deductible. He is so thorough. I have gone to 3 other dermatologists in 3 states and none of them was good as him. I started to go to him in 2006-2012. I moved out of state and now I'm back. Glad to be his patient again. Also my parents go to him and he has caught Mol that could have been cancer and he caught them in time

Have had multiple treatments for same areas of concern, treatments that did nothing to remedy or didn't last, paid many co-pays and out-of-pocket dollars--often repeat for same issue. In my view, it's all about the money and expensive cosmetic services and creams. Nothing done has improved my skin's appearance and in some cases made it worse. Many scars for "pre-cancers." Won't recommend and won't go back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cottell and most recently with Dr. Herron . I experienced a botched Moh’s surgery with Dr. Herron that had to be repaired by a plastic surgeon at OSU. Both Dr. Cotell and Dr. Herron do not take the time to care for their patients, zip in and out , and are extremely impersonable. I would never recommend either of them to anyone.

I did not have good experience with billing and also i was not notified what exactly the procedure involves. Was asked to pay much more than what my insurance claimed was out of pocket cost. I do not recommend this office.

Dr. Herron is extremely kind, personable, talented, and trustworthy. I have had nothing but positive experiences with him so far!! I had dermafillers injected and fractional co2 laser resurfacing done and am more than pleased with the results and have more appointments scheduled with him.
