BEWARE: Out-of-Network Billing Practices.I chose this doctor for a colonoscopy based on positive reviews and his in-network status with Anthem. However, I was informed that he exclusively uses an out-of-network anesthesiologist and will not allow an in-network provider.Despite having excellent insurance, I was told I'd have to pay $400 cash for the anesthesiologist, plus a $150 fee for a biopsy (a service my insurance covers 100% through Quest Labs).His office assistant was unpleasant and completely unhelpful, refusing to an... read more
No real diagnosis or medication to help with my symptoms. Extra unknown charges which insurance was not billed for. After becoming very ill, from an infection due to colonoscopy and endoscopy, no one checked in on me at all, I had to call repeatedly. The office charged tele-health for lab results which required antibiotics due to the infection caused by the procedures. The lab work for the procedures stated above was sent to a lab not in my insurance network without prior conversation which resulted in a huge bill.
As always, my most valued primary, Dr. Emrani, referred me to another first-rate specialist, Dr. Sach. I found Dr. Sach to be very personable, professional, and responsive to my immediate medical need. Having a history of 3 prior cancers, Dr. Sach addressed this new patient promptly and cordially, as did his highly efficient staff, making every effort to secure a procedure in the shortest possible time period. I really like dr Sach his the best. Helped me with my stomach.Takes his time to really listens to me I had 2 visits got some recommended diet to fallow and feel great .
I would like to share my experience with Dr.Joel Sach and Valley Endoscopy Center from my first visit to Dr.Joel's office his staff was extremely professional, kind and helpful Dr.Sach is very professional, kind and was very knowledgeable although it was my first procedure he assure me that everything will be fine and I'm glad I chose him. This review is sadly belated (I should have written it months ago) but I just have to say that I found Dr. Sach to be the most kind, patient, and caring doctor I have met in years! He truly listened and genuinely addressed my individual health concerns with patience. Dr. Sach is caring and thorough. He does not over-prescribe. But he follows up on his patients and their ongoing needs. He is also available when needed for a consultation.
I have met many doctors over the years, but very few put you at ease right away; call it bedside manner or personality. Dr. Joel Sach came highly recommend as a very competent gastrologist, the best in the Valley. He answered all my numerous questions and explained everything in layman's lanquage. The staff is exemplary so nice and helpful just like him. Will recommend him to all my friends and family. Thank you for your service.
