Update: After hearing my concerns the owner of the company came out and fixed the issues that I was concerned about and said he would talk with his apprentices to make sure they didn’t make the same mistake again. I still don’t think I would use them again personally but they did try to make things right. (Updated from 1 to 3 stars because of good customer service) Very disappointing experience. Very disappointing experience. I had my meter can replaced and the hole they cut to get the new conduit through my brick was way bigger than needed; then they proceed to do a really bad job patching the brick so that the hole wasn’t sealed. I ended up patching it myself. The electrical panel install was good overall but they didn’t put a connector on one of the wires coming in which is a serious safety hazard and didn’t put a plastic bushing on the main feeder wires coming in which is also a serious safety hazard. My house experienced a surge in electricity during one of the recent storms and it fried an outlet in the kitchen. We called Joe Schmo to come check out the outlet and make sure no other electrical damage was done. They provided great service for a fair price. Definitely recommend.
Had an issue with some outlets in our older house. The tech who came out was super nice and got the problems diagnosed and fixed in no time for a more than reasonable price.
Joe Schmo is a great company for electrical services. They exceeded our expectations and worked hard to do everything right. There was one small thing that ended up being unrelated to the initial work performed, but they promptly looked at it and fixed it anyway. That alone deserves five stars. Any company can look great when there are no issues. I have found few companies are great when a potential problem is raised. Joe Schmo definitely deserves your attention when you need any electrical work done.
