Joe Myers, Austin Johnson, and the rest of his team were wonderful to work with. My remodel was extensive and painful (owner scope creep on an old, old house and covid supply chain - no fault of Joe's). Through it all, he was practical, respectful, and above all, responsive and trustworthy, which is SO hard to find! If you work with joe around an insurance claim triple check his bid, and make it 100% clear that he will agree to the work for the bid price. Or you’ll end up like me without a master bathroom for 3 months now and a new bid double the amount he told me that he would do the work for. I feel scammed, don’t let this happen to you.
As part of a repaint and new gutter project, we wanted to repair some damage cedar siding. We had a carpenter cancel on us as we communicated his final arrival timing. We had scheduled for our siding material to arrive, then painted, then the carpenter was to install, closely followed by the painter's schedule. The absolute worst remodel experience of my life and I’ve done many. It was promised for may 1 and it’s still not finished close to sept 1 When I claimed that workers weren’t showing up, he went absolutely ballistic and screamed at me. He stopped working for 2 months because I changed the bathtub. I said charge etc and call it a change order. Nothing was done.
