Jodie Barr cared for my father-in-law during his terminal bout with prostate cancer. I was not present during their interactions and I believe he was satisfied with her care. Upon his passing, we never heard a single word from Dr. Barr or her staff. I am a college professor who studies and teaches health communication and I do understand the need for some physicians to maintain a distance from patients, especially those who will be lost.
