After genetic testing through KU med, a bone marrow biopsy was recommended for a positive Jak2 mutation. I was told by her office that she was accepting new patients & they would need my referral & genetics report. After receiving these, I received a phone call that my condition was too complex to have an appointment with Dr. Palmer. Bizzare. Why would a hematologist not want to see you for a confirmed hemotological issue?

Have been seeing Dr Palmer for years and won’t go anywhere else! Dr Palmer is amazing. She explains everything thoroughly and answers all questions. Her smile makes me feel comfortable and at ease during stressful situations. Her staff is equally amazing and kind!
I initially went to Dr. Palmer for my second opinion after being diagnosed. About a year later, I realized I needed a better relationship with a more qualified hematologist. So we switched , and are very happy with Dr. Palmers course of treatment & care, as well as her exceptional professionalism and bedside manner. Highly recommend!
